I TOLD YOU NOT TO DIE: Resident Evil 6
Alex and I recently managed to get together with a couple of friends for another episode of I TOLD YOU NOT TO DIE (the first of which can be found here on my main channel, pre-arcadexpoints). ITYNTD is basically us attempting to play horror games and totally failing at it.
Resident Evil 6 felt more shooter than horror though, like its predecessor, but it was still fun getting to play it (or rather, scream while our other friends played). I do wish we got to play something scarier, because footage would've been more entertaining. I feel like the horror factor in the RE franchise has steadily declined, focusing more on co-op and firearms than trying to scare players. But I've never thoroughly played an RE game, so what do I know?
On a totally unrelated note, I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T POSTED IN MONTHS!!! To be frank, I just wasn't playing anything anymore. I picked up an old game sometime in September, but eventually lost interest and I just never got around to playing anything -- or at least anything worth talking about. I do hope I can successfully pull myself to playing (and, more importantly, finishing) Lightning Returns before the year ends, but, knowing me, the chances of that are fifty-fifty... Though that's a better ratio than my chances of surviving horror games.

EXPLOSIONS
8 bajillion guns, hours of gameplay with added dlc-content, single player and up-to four player co-op, and explosions.
Yeah. Borderlands 2.

Monster Hunting Madness
There's just something relatively therapeutic about gathering quests where you have to swim underwater to mine, sneak behind giant dodo/peacock hybrid birds in order to retrieve a golden egg and smacking overgrown mosquitos around. Until, of course, a giant shark-bird-thing-with-legs decides to wander where you are and proceed to water-canon your butt all the way to the other side of the screen.
No, just me?
Oh.
Now if the title didn't tip you off, this is a post on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the 3DS.

Art Book: DmC Devil May Cry Visual Art
I know what you're thinking: "ANOTHER post on DmC? Really Ina? Do you not obsess over anything else?!" I'll have you know that I do obsess over many things, like anime and kpop, but I can't just have a copy of this and not talk about it, right?
While I was a little underwhelmed when I finished the game (which you can read about here + my first impression here), at the end of it I thought, "Man, it'd be nice if I could have a copy of the art book." I wasn't pinning for it or anything, but having unlocked some of the official artwork you're awarded with in-game, I thought it'd be cool to actually have an actual physical copy of these visuals for myself. Lo and behold, I found it at the mall a few weeks later.
Some minor spoilers for characters/area designs under the cut!

I'll see you in (3D) court
Having recently finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (mouthful much), I figured a post to share my thoughts and, more importantly, feels, was in order. Spoilers below if you've never played this game and its predecessors!

Final thoughts on DmC: Devil May Cry
Hey, yo, I finished DmC! Surprised? So am I - mostly at how fast I managed to finish it. In this post I'll be delving more into the storyline, boss fights, difficulty level and so on… Some minor spoilers ahead, just a heads up!

Dragon Age is a Series of FEELINGS
So as you all know, or are vaguely aware of, October of this year is when Bioware/EA games will be releasing the third part of the Dragon Age series; Dragon Age Inquisition. And what does that mean?
A whole tidal wave of FEELINGS on the Dragon Age series.

DmC: DAMN MAN CANDY
“… anyway, yeah, I’ve been pretty obsessed with DmC lately.”
“What’s DmC?”
“… Dancing Migrating Chickens.”
“…”
“Deliver My Car.”
“…”
“Download Many Cla-“
“OK STOP.”
I feel like pretty much everybody knows, or at least has heard of, the DMC franchise.

Top 5 Maps of Veritable Lost-ness
"Oh cr*p"
-me entering any place with a large undiscovered map
So in my previous post, I rambled on about my Passive Skill which is what I call "Forever Lost." Just now. Anyway.
I doubt a lot of people aren't aware, or have basic knowledge of the games I'm going to talk about, I'm going to put it out here that despite how vague my actual summaries for the games are, it's still Spoiler Alert worthy. So. Yeah. Warning.

Games in Glossies
I have this obsession with magazines. I hoard back issues like no tomorrow, and I've several issues lying around the house that take up more space than my own existence. (Not really.) I especially enjoy gaming magazines. Window shopping for video games brings me so much happiness, and the same can be said for whenever I flip through pages of a gaming magazine.
Electronic Gaming Monthly in particular is one of those gaming magazines I often look forward to.

Can't Hold a Tune, But Can Hold a Beat
Can't dance.
Can't sing.
Can't play any musical instrument.
But I can pretend to have those skills, at least temporarily.

Ghost Trick: Phantom WHAT
New week, and a new entry for Arcadexpoints. Hey everyone!
To continue my trend of hand-held games (so far anyway), I decided to talk about a game that was on the Nintendo DS, but was placed in the iTunes store later on down the road; Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective for the iPad.
Now I'm going to be honest here and say I've never played the DS version of this game. One was because I never came across it whenever I had the time to go game shopping, and two was because by this time, I was interested more in the console games due to FEELINGS, and three, which is in connection to number one, I had no idea what it was about or what you were supposed to do. So playing this for the first time was definitely new.

Dream Drop DEAD
It is already public knowledge that I am a massive Kingdom Hearts fanatic, so to start my first post on this blog about something from the franchise seemed most fitting.

Pokemon Y and Feelings
Hello all, and welcome to the very first game-related post of Arcadexpoints.
We've decided to start off with "games we've already finished lately" trend for these, so I'm going to be talking about my Journey to Become the Next Pokemon Champion experience™ in the Kalos region of Pokemon Y; c'est magnifique (really horrible google-translate French. I have never learned or spoken the language. I apologise greatly)
I'll definitely be talking about the game play, but I won't go through a lot of it. Primarily I'll be talking about the different aspects of this Pokemon generation that makes it very different. And I'm not talking about the 100+ new pokemon they introduced.
